As a Cybersecurity Consultant (SIEM Solutions), you will be joining a dynamic team at one of the fastest growing cyber firms in UK, MENA, and APAC.

What will be your responsibilities?

Your focus will be on empowering companies with our proprietary Next-Gen AI SIEM combined with cybersecurity industry best-standards, and enabling a predictive mindset. You will contribute technically to client engagements and services development activities which will including preparing deliverables that will be presented to clients and other parties within various areas of cybersecurity. In this role, you will:

• SIEM Implementation: You will work closely with clients to understand their security requirements and design and deploy Blacklight SIEM solution tailored to their needs. This involves assessing the client's existing infrastructure, configuring SIEM tools, integrating with relevant security devices and systems, and ensuring proper data collection and log management.
• Incident Monitoring and Response: You will monitor SIEM alerts and security events to identify potential security incidents or breaches. This involves analyzing and investigating suspicious activities, assessing the severity and impact of incidents, and providing timely and accurate recommendations for incident response.
• Client Engagement and Communication: You will establish strong relationships with clients and act as a trusted advisor on cybersecurity matters. You will communicate technical concepts and recommendations effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, providing regular updates, reports, and presentations.
• Training and Knowledge Transfer: You will provide training and knowledge transfer sessions to client teams, empowering them to effectively utilize and manage Blacklight AI SIEM solution. This includes conducting workshops, creating documentation, and delivering training materials on best practices, incident response, and cybersecurity awareness.
• Threat Intelligence Analysis & Industry Research and Continuous Learning: You will stay abreast of emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in the field of cybersecurity. You will stay updated with the latest cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques. You will research and analyze threat intelligence feeds, assess their relevance to the client's environment, and incorporate them into the Blacklight SIEM solution to enhance threat detection capabilities.

Minimum qualifications:

• Computer Science/Software Engineering (or related) degree
• 3+ years of cybersecurity experience with hands-on technical experience with SIEM solutions and working knowledge of SOC
• Strong working knowledge in all pillars/segments of security
• Comfortable in a fast-moving environment and ability to pivot quickly
• Good time management skills and problem-solving skills
• Experience in client facing delivery with strong communication skills able to explain complex technical aspects to a non-technical audience
• Excellent analytical, organizational skills and strong attention to detail in communication, written and presentation
• Has a go-getter mentality – highly collaborative with an entrepreneurial, roll-up-your sleeves attitude and is interested and excited for a high-growth opportunity

Preferred qualifications:

• Programming experience in at least one or more of the following: JavaScript, C++, Python
